Celebrating Earth Day and Social Responsibility With #WalgreensOlogy

I feel like I have been talking a ton lately with my kids about this holiday that is coming up. In my opinion, it is one of the most important around. That holiday is…Earth Day! We haven’t just been chatting about Earth Day being one day but about how every day can be Earth Day and our social responsibility. Just last night, my daughter’s Daisy troop planted some pea plants but not before we had a nice long conversation about what we can do to treat our Earth a little better each and every day. I must say, these girls were pretty knowledgeable! We talked about the usual suspects, water, electricity, and trash, focusing on the three R’s (reduce, reuse, and recycle). It seems like when people think about Earth Day, these are the things that are focused on. And that is GREAT!

It is always good though to think about other ways that we can help our Earth as well. Maybe small steps that we can take that we may not have thought about before. That brings me to cleaning. I am a cleaner. I like a clean house. Clean kitchen floor, clean bathrooms, and clean countertops. Especially now that we are selling our house, I am on a mission. Yep, that’s right, with Ology All-Purpose Cleaner with Meyer Lemon!

With cleaning can come chemicals. I am so happy to see Walgreens stepping up to offer accessible cleaning products without all of the junk that is no good for our Earth, read, NO harmful chemicals! There is a new cleaning product line in town, one made without toxic ingredients, and it is called Ology. #WalgreensOlogy offers not only house cleaning products (including paper products), but also ones for our bodies too! AND laundry detergent – one that is gentle on little bodies (even H who has eczema!). Oh and it smells great too – a lavender and vanilla scent:)

Ology paper products are made from 100% tear-free materials and I can attest to the fact that they hold up like no other. Their paper towels are perfect for wiping little faces and messy spills! They are also environmentally friendly, made from renewable sugar husk and quick growing bamboo <–How about that?!

So now, as you go about your daily cleaning, seek out cleaners like Ology brand ones that uses sustainable raw materials and include natural ingredients. It isn’t just important for your children (and you!) but for the future generations that you don’t even know yet!

Ology products are free from the following 10 harmful chemicals: Ammonia, Chlorine bleach, DEA (diethanolamine), TEA (triethanolamine), Parabens, Phthalates, Formaldehyde, Nonylphenol ethoxylates, Triclosan, SLS, SLES. Plus, Ology does not use artificial dyes or fragrances.

Learn more about these products through a little “Mom Challenge”:)

Thanks to #CollectiveBias for letting me try them out!
