One thing we all know is that the holidays are a busy time for everyone. No matter what you celebrate, there are nights out, parties, family gatherings, things you need to jump out of your comfy sweatpants for. Not that I wear comfy sweatpants all the time BUT come on now, it’s late fall and it’s cold outside!
My rule of thumb to decrease stress when it comes to dressing for the holidays is to have choices. But that doesn’t mean a million clothes choices, it means a few staple pieces that can be worn with different items to change it up a bit. Pieces that can be dressed up or dressed down depending what you wear them with.
Each season I re-evaluate what those pieces are. One thing I know fall to be is a jean jacket season. The classic Perfect Fit Dylan Denim jacket never goes out of style. 😉 It can be worn with a pair of nice colored skinny pants, a pair of khakis, or dress it up a bit more with a skirt! I love the look of an infinity scarf paired with the jacket as well.
My go-to of this season is this pair of Lee Brown Herringbone Pants. Worn with a pair of flats and a solid colored sweater it is perfect for the workday. Change it up to a flashy shirt and heels for a dressier occasion. And this year they were my go-to for family pictures!
