My Newest Obsession, My Erin Condren Life Planner

About a year ago, a co-worker (realizing how obsessed I am with my planner) showed me this date book that was like the queen of all planners. This was after a 12 hour shift and I was on my way out the door when she showed me, and I fell in love immediately. But then… I forgot about it.

Fast forward to this year when a mommy friend of mine was bragging about having just ordered “the best life planner around”…an Erin Condren life planner. The light bulb went off and I went on a mission to find a way to score this queen of planners. My current date book was about to expire and I was desperately in need of something to keep my life in order starting in the new year.

I was stoked when my in-laws gave me an Erin Condren gift card for Christmas and it took all of about 30 minutes for me to start creating my very own planner! If you haven’t yet been to Erin Condren’s website, go now. It is awesome. Everything on there is tailored to their customers. It’s full of organizational tools that are completely customizable. From life planners to gift tags to business cards to labels, there are so many items to choose from! I love them all.

After a long couple weeks of waiting for my life planner to arrive, the FedEx guy came to my house at 5 p.m. one day and left one awesome package. I knew immediately what it was as I saw the Erin Condren box on my doorstep. I was amazed at all of the detail that was put into the presentation of this item when I opened it. Even the packaging blew me away!

I opened the box and my life planner was beautifully wrapped in bright colored tissue paper with a sticker to hold it together. I had suspected from the looks of the beautiful website that this company takes great pride in their creations, and that assumption was absolutely correct. I was very impressed!

Then, once I un-wrapped my life planner, I was so excited to see it in person. I had chosen a picture to put on the cover along with my favorite chevron pattern, but hadn’t seen a preview, so this was the first time I was seeing my customized creation, and it was perfect.

My planner also came with samples of labels that had my name on them as well as even more samples inside the little plastic pouch that is inside of the planner.

Beyond the beautiful and creative design on the outside, I am in love with the organization of the planner on the inside. (This part is crucial to me!) First, there are a set of pages in the front that are dedicated to birthdays and anniversaries. Each page has one month with all of the dates listed. My New Years resolution, to be better at remembering and really honoring those special days, was based off of this page.

Next, there is a monthly calendar followed by 2 pages per week. Each day has a section for morning, day, and evening. Each week has a list for goals and a to do list. One of my favorite parts of these pages is the inspirational quotes located at the top. The quotes are adorable!

And, there is plenty of room to write your daily activities and must-do’s!

The back of my life planner has a folder to keep random papers and a zipper pouch for pens or other items; business cards, phone numbers, etc. There are also plenty of blank pages for taking notes or jotting down other important info.

As you are customizing your life planner on the Erin Condren website, you will see tons of add-on options as well. I opted for the basic life planner, but chose to add-on a sticky pen holder so that I would never lose my pen (I am quite picky about the pens that I use :-)).

I have to say how pleased I am that I splurged on this with my gift card. It is just as awesome in-person as it was on the site and the reviews from my friends have been spot-on so far. It’s fantastic!

BONUS! ErinCondren.com has been kind enough to offer one of my readers a $25 gift card to use toward any of the fabulous products on their website. Head on over and check out all of the options. The opportunities for customization are endless!

How have I never heard of these planners before? Thank you for letting me know about them! After visiting her website, I can see a Life Planner in my future (possibly even to replace the planner I got for 2013 that I don’t like!) Now, if only I could subscribe to her page…I try, but it keeps telling me there is an error with the server. I guess I will have to try again later. :)
