Morning Smoothie Power and a Happy Family Yogurt Giveaway

I’ve mentioned before that one of our very favorite things is a smoothie. We all love them. Often times we just throw whatever we have at home in the blender and in just minutes they are made. I always try to include some greens too as C just LOVES these Spinach Smoothies that we make! Recently we have been making them every morning so our process has become a little more streamlined. It has become a ritual filled with nutrients and goodness!


Below I am sharing our recipe for the perfect kid friendly smoothie!

The best part is that C, G, and H just adore making these smoothies with me!

First we grab all of our ingredients! I love using Happy Family’s Greek Yogurt Squeezable Pouches – a nice quick serving of yogurt making for an extra creamy smoothie! And we use whatever greens we have on hand. This week’s CSA share had kale in it. I also find it useful to freeze bananas and other fruit just before it goes bad for smoothie use too! And don’t forget the liquid. I used milk this time but we also use 100% fruit juice too sometimes.


Then we add it to the blender and enjoy. It really is that simple!

Morning Power Smoothie


  • Handful of raw kale or spinach
  • 4-6 oz. yogurt (Happy Family Greek Yogurt Squeeze Pouches are perfect)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup milk


  1. Place all ingredients in blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Cheers!
