When I joined into Motivation Monday less than a year ago, I was excited for the inspiration that it would entail. I had been following along for awhile and linking up too so I knew that the posts were ones that I felt something from reading. Over the last year, I have been motivated and inspired on a weekly basis. It has been so nice to find some wonderful blogs to follow. Thank you for letting me in to learn more about all of your lives!

On Motivation Monday there are always a wide range of categories as far as posts go. Some healthy recipes, crafts with sentiment, and inspirational stories to round it out. I have some favorites from the last year that I’d love to share!

I am starting off with a post (really two) that has given me much inspiration every time that I read it. Barb from A Life in Balance (one of the hosts of Motivation Monday) is a wonderful person. I am lucky to know her both on and off line. She wrote a post recently titled New Years Resolution: How 4 Words Changed My 2013. THIS is inspiring. I have followed along, watching her from afar on this journey and it leaves me with a feeling of knowing that I can do anything I put my mind to. She is a constant motivator to me through her actions and her words. Read this. YOU can do anything.

As far as crafts go, this adorable Scrapbook Tag Album from Cats on the Homestead is a simple yet thoughtful and adorable gift to give to a loved one! My mom would love to receive something like this from my children so this has been added to my to-do’s for the year.

Reading this post made me reflect a bit on how I parent. I like that. I like reading things that make me take a step back and think. Life After Empty Nest writes beautifully about Balancing Motherhood and finding yourself in it all.
