Welcome to Our New Home!

I am sitting here on the eve of our closing date. The kids are excited to run around in a new yard. And Ben and I are excited to finally start to put our roots down here. Oh yeah, and to have a grill…and a yard.

Let me introduce to you to (some of) our new home. Get prepared because there is a lot of cosmetic work to be done and I am going to share it all.

The house is a Victorian Reproduction. Now, this isn’t exactly my style, but the reason we fell in love with this house was the property and the ability to create something that was our own. It is certainly decorated like a Victorian, but it is a gorgeous frame that can be taken in any direction. That is what I saw!

This is the Victorian that I am speaking of:) The owners took such pride in their home and it shows!

The spiral staircase is the first home renovation that we will make. It is a secondary staircase and leads to the kitchen. We will be taking it out and creating a neat little homework nook for the kids in there!

And the angels start singing and the backyard is revealed. A sunroom is something that I have long dreamed of…

And a yard big enough for a GIGANTIC garden! This one comes with a greenhouse too.;)

And so there it is. The start of a new chapter. New, exciting adventures ahead! Stay tuned!
