There are those people in your life that you know just ADORE Disney. Come on, we all have them. They keep us smiling with their cheery, #DisneySide FB posts and their true, pure love for the movies, the park, and the adventure that Disney brings! I have some of those friends and so when I received a #DisneySide Hostess Kit, I knew just who to invite!
I set the date (conveniently a Thursday evening - NO cooking for me!) and invited some friends… Then the kids and I got to party planning. Our hostess kit arrived and it had some fabulous ideas for a party, some great favors, and even awesome games! Oh and Ben’s favorite part was that it came in a REALLY nice black American Tourister piece of luggage that he has been using for traveling recently (our other luggage has seen better days:).
Our friends came all decked out in Mickey gear. C decided to wear Ariel’s costume and her friend had on Anna’s from Disney’s Frozen. We had a Duffy, another princess, some mouse ears, and a few Disney t-shirts! They were ready to party:)
The kids dined on some delicious pizza, Mike Wazowski cupcakes, Mickey Dessert Nachos (check out our recipe and video tutorial!), and of course the official Disney snack was there, Craisins!
We had a nice friendly game of Disney BINGO where the prizes were O2 Cool Misting Water Bottles. Seriously, the kids were SO excited over this! I was impressed with their BINGO capabilities too! They took turns calling out pieces.
Then it was onto some T-shirt decorating. Thanks to Hanes for supplying the white t-shirts that the kids had a blast creating their own style with! We used some Crayola fabric markers and I had printed out a tutorial on how to draw Mickey Mouse which was a hit! I was shocked at how well the kids did with this. Check out these t-shirts…they turned out AWESOME! Some of these kiddos were 4 years old!
My kids are still drawing Mickeys. I heart this tutorial and can’t wait to print out more like them on our new HP Envy Printer!
The kids played and had a blast. Everyone was pretty excited about the gorgeous Mickey and Minnie poster that they went home with, the HP photo cards (which I may just be using to make thank you notes!), some awesome running gear and posters, and a little additional Disney spirit!
We had a blast showing our #DisneySide!
Disclosure: I received a #DisneySide hostess kit with which to have my Disney Home Celebration. A post was not a requirement. All of the fun, thoughts, and opinions are my own!

Those Mike Wazowski cupcakes are such a cute idea! The Mickey Dessert Nachos are new to me. I’m definitely going to have to check those out!

They are SO easy and what a fun thing for the kids to do on their own!
Looks like it was a lot of fun!
