I’m back with another tutorial for a holiday printable. This time it is a Printable Valentine’s Day Picture. I love the colors of this beautiful day. Bright, fun, a pick me up in your house for sure. The only thing that makes it better are sweet words that you can pick on your own.
I posted a PicMonkey Tutorial for a Fall Printable this past fall but since then PicMonkey has changed a bit to make it easier to make your own custom sized printables. So, I thought I’d update it! Make your own or just print this one off to use, I don’t mind!
There is also a PDF link below for anyone that would rather print off the picture that way.
Here are the steps you can use to make your own:
Step 1: Open up PicMonkey. If you don’t have an account, create one. It’s free!
Step 2: Decide what size you would like your picture to be. This is a new (er) feature that PicMonkey has added. I decided on 5×7 for this printable but you can choose 4×6, 8×10, etc.
Step 3: Choose a theme to use. I chose Valentine’s Day for this one but there are lots to choose from and some cross holidays so it is great to look through all of the options.
Step 4: Start designing. You can use a blank canvas and just choose a background color or get a little more creative. For this printable, I used a Valentine’s Day Frame.
Step 5: Begin adding your text.
Step 6: Continue adding your text. I like to use different fonts, different colors, and change the direction of the text so it isn’t all going the same way.
Step 7: Throughout the process add in icons or images that you enjoy (cupid, arrows, etc.) The Valentine’s theme offers a ton to choose from!
Step 8: When you are finished, save your file. I saved mine as a jpg in the highest resolution.
Step 9: Print off your image! Make sure to print the picture in its actual size - this is important because you want it to print to a 5×7 size (or the size you chose)!
I hope you enjoy it!
Here is the PDF of the file in case you prefer to open and print this way.
