H was the tester of yet another great Nuby product. It didn’t take more than a second for him to profess his love for the Wacky Ware Bowl™. I think it was the combination of the bowl having a lid (that he loves to take off and put on), the fact that he loves feeding himself now, and the contents of the bowl (mom’s homemade chili) that made him love it so!
The bright colors certainly grabbed his attention right away. What grabbed my attention was the fact that it is microwaveable (and BPA free). It’s perfect for those leftovers that H is totally into right now. This time it happened to be chili. I gave him a little portion on the back of the lid and that was just enough to satisfy. He immediately picked up his fork and began to take bites. H felt like such a “big kid”!
And then…the fork was not fast enough! So…H thought using his hand was better. Either way, he was picking it out of the bowl and doing it himself!
All in all, the Wacky Ware™ Bowl and Lid was a huge success in our household.
Since the chili meal, we have used it many many times for heating up foods or for just plain old cold fruit in the mornings. I usually just put the leftovers right into the bowl after our meal and then they are ready to heat up the next day.
We also love this bowl with the lid for traveling or when we are having a picnic lunch. The lid stays on very tightly with no leaks occurring (a huge bonus in baby world). The bowl itself is super sturdy, thick, and good quality. I can tell it is going to be a member of our household for a long time.
The Wacky Ware™ Bowl and Lid is dishwasher and microwave safe, free of BPA, and can be bought on Diapersetc.com.

I like those snack grabbers where little hands fit in but snacks won’t fall out. (Until those little hands learn how to take the lids OFF!)
