A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of eating some fantastic yoghurt! It was a brand that I had never heard of and one that was just starting out. I will say, my first reaction was…another yogurt? Do we really need another yogurt on the market?
But, after sitting down and talking to some of the wonderful women that are a part of this company, I found out that the answer is yes. Yes, we do need another healthy, natural, and transparent option. My emphasis is on all three of these and that is why I love this brand (not to mention the taste)!
Koru Dairy is a company that is based in the Midwest, but their product launch (5 delicious flavors of a creamery style yoghurt) was based right here on the East Coast. They are still in the process of working their way into stores across the U.S. Koru was inspired by a New Zealand yogurt and yes, they know that there is an “h” in their spelling of yoghurt. It is meant to be there…kind of sets them off as being different from the rest and they are:)
My favorite flavor has to be the Strawberry Goji, but that could be because I am a strawberry girl at heart. The one person in my house that loves this yoghurt more than anyone else is H, my 1 year old. I love that it is a wonderful option for my little guy. Every ingredient listed is one that I can read and understand. There is no junk in there! I can’t tell you how important that is to me as a mom that is super concerned with what I feed my children, especially on an every day basis. He is particular to the Mango and Peach flavors, but has tried them all.
One of my favorite parts about the yoghurt is it’s see through container. What you see is what you get. And I feel that way about the company too. All questions I asked were not danced around, they were answered openly and honestly and as a consumer, nothing to me is more important. Well, okay, maybe quality of the product…but…Koru Dairy has that too!
The yoghurt has a fine, velvety taste and so I can’t wait for them to make a plain version because I am just dying to bake with it!
*Disclosure: I was provided with a large sampling of Koru Dairy to try. I loved the product and so I chose to review it. I was also provided with 10 free product coupons to use however I chose. No other compensation was received:)

I would love a peanut butter & chocolate yogurt!!!

Yum! I am an anything PB and chocolate kind of girl:)
I think I would make a savory flavor… I know it sounds weird, but Tzatziki is SO good, why not have a flavor like that?

Yum! See, I am all about that…something I can cook with:)
They’ve been passing out free samples in the train station in the morning for the past couple week. So far I’ve tried their strawberry, pineapple and cherry flavors. I have to say they’re really good!
