The other day we did a bunch of preparing for our #DisneySide party. I enlisted the help of the kids and man did that work to my advantage. I got these awesome Mickey cookie cutters in my Home Celebrations Hostess Package, but I didn’t want to just use them for the traditional sugar cookie. C of course came up with a brilliant idea and went to town on creating it.
Over the summer, her and G had taken a cooking class at a friend’s house. This personal chef came over and taught upwards of 10 kiddos how to bake something, dessert nachos. C has been talking about it ever since. So, as I sat there wracking my brain about what to use these cookie cutters on other than sugar cookies, C of course suggests dessert nachos. Perfect!
We got to cutting out Mickey shapes with our cutters (you can get them HERE) from some flour tortillas.
Then we basted each one with a little butter on one side using a basting brush or if you don’t have one (like us), a new paintbrush:). Sprinkle them with a cinnamon and sugar mix and put on a cookie sheet. Not gonna lie, this can will get a little messy….but a fun messy!
Bake at 350 degrees for ~10 minutes until just crispy.
Drizzle chocolate over top (optional)
