Weekly Meal Plan

Wow! A whirlwind of a week. So many great things to be grateful for. Last week began like any other week, filled with activities but ended with a trip to Baltimore and the Natural Products Expo for me and a trip to Great Wolf Lodge New England for our whole family.

I was trying to think of what our favorite meal would have been for last week but the meal that stuck out most in my mind was the huge Thanksgiving Dinner that Great Wolf Lodge put on for us to preview their Howlidays. :) It was delish AND nut free (which always has a special place in my heart).

The homemade snacks from last week were a huge hit once again! It certainly lightened the list at the grocery store and it was quite a bit more healthy too.

This week’s homemade snacks:

  • Homemade Applesauce – I am going to make a huge batch and can a few jars to get a start. **If you haven’t canned applesauce yet, it is really a great place to start. There isn’t ANYTHING difficult about it and you can do it with very little. I am always up for an email or comment if you want some tips! But HERE is a tutorial on how to can applesauce in just a few steps.
  • Homemade Graham Crackers
  • Homemade Pudding Cups

Sunday : Taco Night – Meat and Meatless Pepper Tacos

Monday: Kielbasa with Rice and Corn

Tuesday: Sloppy Joes with French Fries

Wednesday: Pan Roasted Pork Tenderloin with Leeks from Musings of a Housewife

I have started choosing from my new post 17 Ways to Cook a Pork Tenderloin. Lots of great recipes!

Thursday: Breakfast for Dinner 

Beet Pancakes, Sausages, Omelets, and Bacon – YUM!

Friday: Terryaki Chicken and Grilled Veggies

Looks like another nice week so I’m taking advantage of the grill! AND SoyVery Teryaki was on sale at Whole Foods last week so I stocked up;)

Saturday: BBQ at a neighbors

I have to bring a dish so I am totally using it as an excuse to make BBQ Chicken Dumplings again and another variety.
