One thing we have been this spring and summer is on the go. Well, to be honest, when aren’t we on the go? I am constantly packing diaper bags, back packs, lunch boxes, any bag I can, full of snack and treats and meals and anything else I can to fill my little guys up. Often times I am stuck eating leftover bunnies, fruit snacks, and half eaten sandwiches. I’m not complaining – those things taste good. Okay, well maybe I am a little bit. But only because most times, I wish I was eating something a bit more fresh or fruit and veggie based.
Enter the One Bar.
I was kind of excited when I got the chance to try this out but even MORE excited when I received the One Bars and LOVED them!
That is pretty lame, just saying I loved them. Let me tell you why.
I love that these bars consist of one serving of fruit in each bar without any added sugar (oh and they are gluten free!). I also kind of love that there is a new added fruit in them, baobab – a fruit new to the U.S. from Africa. Who doesn’t love new fruit? Especially when it is considered a super (full of antioxidants) one AND it is fair trade sourced. In all honesty though, baobab is pretty great. It contains so many incredible nutrients and is a source of dietary calcium.
I also love that they are portable. I can keep a bunch my purse, diaper bag, so that I get a full bar (and serving of fruit) all to myself. Shhhh, the kids haven’t figured out how delicious (and healthy) they are yet.
There are three flavors of One Bars – Mango <–my fav, Apple, and Cherry.
If you are on the west coast…SCORE! There are a bunch of retailers around you! If not, no worries at all. You can buy One Bars online in their store.
And the best part is I get to give you all a coupon code (EasyFruit) for 25% off your order AND a chance to win!

I would take it when I clean. I rarely have time for breakfast and run out of steam half way through. Mango would probably win in my book too.
