Weekly Meal Plan – September 7-13th – Adding Homemade Snacks In The Mix

YAY! The first week of school ended with huge smiles on faces! <–The best thing in the world.

We were all so anxious jumping in but it was perfect. Actually, it was a pretty stress free week. School lunches went great, dinners were good, I got work in and the kids met new friends and had a blast.

We’re keeping dinners simple again this week (and healthy).

One thing I want to work on though is experimenting with some more homemade nutritious snacks. So, each week I am going to pick a few to make. I’ll be experimenting with some that we’ve never had before too! Here we go!

Weekly Meal Plan

Homemade Snacks for the Week:

1. Homemade Applesauce: Making some to eat and making some to can. It’s that time of year!
2. Zucchini Bread: Using up that veggie that is still overflowing at the farm market!
3. Homemade Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Pop Tarts
4.  Baked Cinnamon Apple Chips

Meals for the Week:

Sunday: Terryaki Chicken on the Grill with Peppers, Onions, and Corn

Monday: Chicken Bruschetta Pasta

Tuesday: Chili in the Crock Pot

Wednesday: Slow Cooker Asian Glazed Chicken

Thursday: Kielbasa with Mashed Potatoes

Friday: Pork Chops with Rice and Green Beans

Saturday: Hamburgers, Black Bean and Mushroom Veggie Burgers  and Baked Beans

We’re capitalizing on all of those grilling out days while we have the chance!

What’s on your menu plan for the week?!

About Lauryn Blakesley

A woman out to explore, celebrate, and enjoy everything that my community and living locally has to offer. Blessed with three beautiful children and an incredible husband, our family embraces adventure while dreaming of what is to come. Lover of knitting, running (although mostly after little ones right now), the color orange, fun accessories, fall, tea, and a clean kitchen floor. I spend my days in awe of my family and trying to teach my three to treat others as they would want to be treated.
