There’s A New Chip In Town And Its Name Is Tyrrells {Review}

All right so I gotta say, I first learned about this new chip from Instagram. I was seeing a bunch of mouth watering pictures (I’m a chip girl) in my feed. Then I saw them at the store – a local store, Kimberton Whole Foods to be exact. And I thought, man, if these make the Kimberton cut, I have to try them.

Well, I am here to say, I have tried them and I am never going back. I have proof. I too became an Instagram poster of mouth watering pictures of Tyrrells Chips.

Now that your mouth is watering, let’s chat about why I may or may not be obsessed with them and what makes them so good.

First of all, before you even get to taste them, you notice their personality right off the bat. It is a big personality and can not be ignored. From the fabulous names – like Worcestershire Sauce and Sundried Tomato to the packaging that has pictures on it, a smile is on your face as soon as you lay eyes on these chips.

Each chip is hand cooked with the skin on in small batches in England using LOCAL Herefordshire potatoes. The seasonings that are used are real, top-notch seasonings. One of the flavors is Mature Cheddar. Guess what? It’s real, mature cheddar you are tasting. Not fake mature cheddar. ‘Nuff said. Wait, maybe not. Did I mention that there isn’t any crud in it? And by crud I mean ingredients that you can’t pronounce or anything artificial. Crud.

The game of favorites.

What are my favorites out of the bunch? Well, I have to go with the Sea Salt and Cider Vinegar ones. I am a huge fan! Second place for me is Sweet Chili and Red Pepper. But make your own decision and check out all of the flavors here.

And make sure to follow Tyrrells along on Facebook!

What’s your favorite kind of chip?

Disclosure: I received a box of Tyrrells Chips to facilitate this review. The smiles and mouth watering that came after were all my own as well as the opinions in this post!

  2. Im a massive fan of these chips! they are my all time fav (second fav is a brand that cooks their chips in olive oil). I have to order mine online, but well worth it. seeing as how salt and vinegar is my fav chip ever, i LOVE that someone made a healthier version with the sea salt and cider vinegar one!!
