Nuby Fork and Spoon Travel Set {Review and Giveaway}

We have been doing quite a bit of traveling this summer. Just this weekend we got home from a week at the beach and just a few weeks ago we were in the Southwest for a road trip. Aside from all of the long vacations we have taken these days, it seems like we are always on the road running from place to place.

One of H’s favorite foods that he loves and I love to feed him is yogurt. I love that it has some protein and fat in it. It is the perfect snack for our day trips and rides in the car. Something that I ALWAYS do is…forget the spoon. Come on, you have been there…you feel completely prepared, diaper bag packed and you are ready to go. You have your nice little refrigerated pack with yogurt in it or some other baby food. You are feeling pretty proud of yourself when your child cries and you whip out the snack only to realize that…you forgot a spoon and aside from drinking it, you have to get pretty creative.

Nuby Travel Set

So, needless to say, I was pretty happy to be trying out this Fork and Spoon Travel Set by Nuby. It is a set of four forks (more like sporks) and four spoons that come in their own washable carrying case. I have been leaving this in the diaper bag and since there are nine of them, even when one is in the wash, I am never without a utensil for H’s snacks. While we were away, this set was a lifesaver. It was such a great tool in the airport, on the plane, in the car, and on the beach! I gotta say, for those long hours in the car in Colorado, it certainly came in handy as H would carefully take each and every utensil out and then put them all back in closing the lid. He would do this over.and.over again. We all know how precious those 15 minutes of occupied time is. It also came in handy as a distraction in restaurants too!

You can find Nuby’s Fork and Spoon Travel Set for ~$4.00 on Amazon, Cookies, and Ideal Baby and Kids.

  1. Definitely a wet bag! I sewed it from oilcloth and it has served so many purposes, from holding wet clothes to a leaky sippy cup to the cool shells we found at the beach to sun block to wet bathing suits.

    • I have to say, this is an awesome idea! We were at the beach last week and SO could have used a wet bag. I am going to have to look into getting some oilcloth. Thanks Niki!!!
