Letting It All Out: Peter Rabbit, Boston, and a Birthday Party!

Letting-It-All-Out

The name of the game for this week was whirlwind!

We started off in PA, getting ready for a trip up to New England. Thanks to my mom, I got a bunch of work done and was able to leave the house in “show ready” condition.

Tuesday afternoon, I headed out to the school to see C in her first ever play, Peter Rabbit. She was one of the “Good Bunnies”. The play was really on Wednesday but we had been planning our trip to Boston for some time so C’s teacher invited the boys and I to Tuesday’s dress rehersal. She even sent home and invite and everything. She rocks. Honestly, C (and I) would have been devasted if we had to miss this. It made all the difference in the world!

We headed straight out from there for our trip up to Boston. I am completely blessed with kids that are fabulous riders in the car. They had tons of actvities to keep them busy. If it weren’t for my windshield wipers going 70 miles an hour the entire ride up there, the trip would have been great. Sheesh, it was a terrible day for driving. But we got there safe and sound. And though cold, the next few days were awesome!

The kids and I did some exporing around the towns and area. We headed into the Children’s Museum which quite honestly is one of the best that I have been to. I even got a season pass because we didn’t even finish visiting all of the areas {read H threw like 5 million tantrums and we had to leave before we were finished}. I got to go out with our real estate agent (who has been fabulous) and see some homes in the Franklin/Foxboro (still not sure how to spell it)/ Wrentham area <–which I loved!

We came home on Friday happy as can be to be able to spend the weekend together!  Oh and to a gigantic hole covered up in our front yard from our sewer being fixed. A lovely sight right in our front yard…BUT at least it is fixed and done and we can move on. Grass seed here we come!

No time for relaxing. Cakes had to be made. And not just any cake, but a Disney Infinity cake. The time has come for G’s birthday week.:) A nice big mini-golf party filled with smiles and checkered shirts and friends. Oh, and a Disney Infinity cake made just the way G wanted it. The day finished up with a friend’s birthday party for C.

We are headed to my mom and dad’s tomorrow for Easter and the kids couldn’t be more excited. Happy Easter!
