Happy Child Super Nutrition Shakes {Review}

This summer, we have been on the go. From apartments to vacations to moving into a new home, there have been plenty of to-do’s on our list! My two big kids do a pretty good job of eating larger meals that tie them over from one to the next but my littler guy, he’s still learning. With a peanut and almond allergy, we generally need to bring our own snacks with us everywhere we go.

I was more than excited to see these new Happy Child Super Nutrition Shakes from Happy Family. H loves his milk. And chocolate milk is an even better treat! When I saw this new chocolate (and vanilla) shake filled with extra nutrients, I jumped right on the chance to try it out.

Shelf stable until opened, the Happy Child Super Nutrition Shake is a great option for that on-the-go snack that I was talking about. Each 8.25 ounce shake offers 8 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber (awesome!), and 21 vitamins and minerals. It is jam packed with entirely natural and organic ingredients meant to balance a picky eater’s diet out.

It is a shake, but it is thin like milk. H loved his served cold. The size of the shake is just slightly larger than a regular juice box so it easily fits in a mini-cooler or a lunch bag.

There is an option of drinking with a straw or opening it up enough to sip. We all know 2 year olds and their preference for this can change by the day. I love the versatility on this!

Happy Family is always very upfront with allergy information which makes me super happy always. They have a chart on their website with common and uncommon allergens noted on it. There are a few things that I love about the brand that carry through to this product as well. First of all, I love their story – a mom that wanted good, healthy options for her child. Next up is their committment to sustainability. It doesn’t stop at getting healthy food to your child. Happy Family takes pride in their work with family farms as well as post consumer recycled products whenever possible.

H is certainly hooked on the Nutrition Shakes. Add them to our list of things to take on our beach outings, days at the pool, and all the other times where we are out long enough that we can’t depend on a “real” meal from him. How comforting to know that he can get so much nutrition from one small box. :)

You can grab Happy Child Super Nutrition Shakes from Target or Amazon. Be sure to get a $2 off coupon here.

  1. OMG I have to check these out at Target! I usually just send the kiddos in with water bottles, and sometimes juice, but I want to totally eliminate juice and send them in something nutritious,, hardy and organic (not easy). Thanks for sharing!
