G and I had some time alone while C was at school one afternoon and H was sleeping, so we did what we often do, went to the kitchen and created! These are family (and friend) tested and approved:)
Ingredients
- ¾ cup butter
- ¾ cup sour cream
- 1 ½ cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 ½ tsp vanilla
- 1 2/3 cup flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup of cocoa powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line or grease muffin tins (see below notes).
- Cream together softened butter, eggs, sour cream, and sugar.
- In another bowl, mix salt, baking soda, flour, and cocoa powder.
- Add flour mixture, vanilla, and milk, to the creamed mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Fill muffin tins ¾ full.
- Bake for 16 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
*Note: I have tried this recipe in mini and regular sized muffin tins. Because the white chocolate chips are not mini, I think that it turns out best in regular sized tins because they are less apt to break apart.
