A Source for Style: Artifact Under 60 Photo Shoot

*I was given this dress and these photos for my own personal use. Artifact Under 60 really is a phenomenal store and so therefore, all of these opinions are genuine and my own:)

C has inspired my sense of  style lately. She likes different. She likes original. I walked into Artifact Under 60 back in June and discovered that it was just the store I was looking for. Thrift shopping certainly fulfills my desire for original and reasonable cost wise but I had yet to find another option that was more of a hit every time. Artifact Under 60, a boutique located in downtown West Chester, PA on Gay Street, fulfills both of these desires and more. Not only a clothing boutique, there are shoes and accessories to choose from as well. And, everything in the store is under 60 dollars (hence the name). Owner Lauren Merkel hand selects clothing that ties with the season. She places an order for just a few items of each, if that, and when they are gone, they are gone. You won’t see someone walking around with a dress just like yours. It is unique.

A few weeks ago I chose a dress to wear in a “photo shoot” that Artifact Under 60 asked me and a few other bloggers to participate in. Stephanie Chesebro photographed us in our newly styled Artifact attire. I took C with me to pick out the dress and let her rate the ones that I tried on and even pick out a couple. She had me in strapless pink dress, glittery halters, oh my girlie girl! The one we finally decided on was one that I would have never imagined myself in yet I felt amazing in it! A unique style for sure and one that I can’t wait to wear again.
When I showed up for the photo shoot, all of the girls looked amazing. The styles they had chosen looked fabulous on them! And I wanted to run back into the store and hope that they had another one of each of the dresses waiting for me.
Artifact Under 60 has become my favorite place to shop for that occasion or night out where you want something a bit unique and fun. Or honestly even just for that fun casual fall outfit. I can’t wait to see their fall collection unveiled over the next few weeks. I picked up a cardigan sweater that I am SO looking forward to wearing with a nice pair of jeans. I am sure there are going to be some really fun dresses and shirts as well!
The next time you are in or near West Chester, STOP BY! I promise, you won’t regret it. You will probably even come home with one of your favorite outfits without having to break the bank! Check out their new arrivals site to see all of the great fall wear in the store! You can also follow along on Facebook and Twitter for store events and sales!
